With hiking trails out the back door, glassy waters perfect for a morning paddle, and a large deck that enjoys the late Alaskan summer sun, our bed & breakfast is the ideal base for all your adventures in the Great Land.

Take a canoe or kayak to watch the salmon swim upstream during the height of the sockeye run. Set off from the back door and hike the historic Iditarod trail, or climb 4,300-foot Tiehacker Mountain. The lake and its surroundings afford countless ways to enjoy tranquility or to find adventure.

Full breakfast is served at 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM

  • baked egg or egg & meat entree
  • muffins or other baked pastry straight from the oven
  • one of these guests had a special diet to which we catered accordingly (though we can not provide for vegan diets).

A continental breakfast

Ideal if you want an earlier start for fish charters or cruise tours.  It is served between 7:00 and 8:00 AM - just pre-arrange the time.. The meal includes:

  • freshly ground coffee or a selection of fine black, green and herbal teas, or cocoa
  • fruit
  • fruit yogurt
  • bagels with cream cheese

A packed B&B breakfast

If you need an early departure we can provide a packed breakfast if informed by noon the previous day. The meal typically includes the items mentioned
above for the Continental Breakfast.
